We're delighted to announce emerging partnerships with five sets of new partners in western Washington State who are considering, or already undertaking, pilot projects for the Cascadia Biodiversity Evidence System - with local citizen science (community science) and academic projects on the democratic monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem health:

 

• Anacortes Community Forest Lands Monitoring Project - a lively community science forest health project focusing on tree die-offs, soil moisture, water quality and phenology, started in summer 2019

• St Edward State Park Environmental Education and Research Center - an emerging forest health partnership between the University of Washington, State Parks Department, and Conservation Biology Institute at the newly developing St Edward State Park Environmental Education and Research Center and surrounding urban greenbelt systems.

• Olympic Experimental State Forest - awaiting funding

• Skagit Watershed and Farmlands - awaiting funding

• The Salish Sea School - Cascades to Coast - awaiting funding
